About

“#” Hashtag always come with a word or phrase describing the characteristic of a place, a shop or a specific location. It also newly use in the social media for exploring of the district where you are with a specific “#”. How would it be in a tangible installation describing a community like Sham Shui Po?

“#City” is a collaborative project for designers and neighbours from different background to co-create and explore a possibility of exploring a community, the missing linkage in between. Through workshop, community engagement and talks, it helps to identify the public space into various features and even oral history included. With the facilitators, teammates can jam different way on creating the finding system to make dialogue on street with different people, enhancing the exploration of a community.
