Olivia Steindler, Italian violinist, was born in Germany into a family with musical traditions: her great-grandfather and her great-uncle were the German musicians Bernhard and Paul Dessau.

She plays a German violin, Jacob Stainer School from 1682. She began learning the violin at the age of three; a year later she was admitted to the Akademie für Tonkunstin Darmstadt, where she had her first public performances.

Olivia Steindler will perform the 24 Caprices for Solo Violin composed by Niccolò Paganini.
