Rex Koo, a Hong Kong born and bred in the seventy’s visual artist, is enthusiastic about pop culture, particularly Hong Kong movies. He has been devoting himself to graphic design and illustration works since the Millennium. In 2013, starting his career as an independent designer, he held three individual exhibitions about a series of Simple People portrait. In 2015, he released his first publication, 《Only You can take me to get scriptures in the west》, themed on Hong Kong movie. In 2016, he followed the same theme and released 《Once upon a time — memory of Hong Kong cinema》. In 2017, he released his third publication with the exhibition titles《Bleeding and Death are two different things》, a book themed with blood and death scene of Hong Kong movies.

Being the first exhibition of Dot Dot Dot Gallery after the relocation, there will not only be the release of Rex’s latest publication《Strange Tales of Walled City》 with the original manuscripts but also with original manuscripts and other products at the same time. Lastly, in order to let everyone know more about the world of《Strange Tales of Walled City》, starting from 19th June, the first 22 pages of the book’s preface will be serialized on zbfghk for a limited time.
