In 1215 Magna Carta established for the first time the principle that everybody, including the king, was subject to the law. Some of Magna Carta’s core principles are echoed in many constitutional documents around the world, including the United States Bill of Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

To mark the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta, an original edition from Hereford Cathedral will travel to Hong Kong next week. Don’t miss the opportunity to see one of the world’s most famous documents up close!
