When people are losing connection with the nature and our city, is something missing in our daily life? The artist Redtonetone uses a series of paper art to display her experiences after her papermaking apprenticeship in TaiChung. Her works were a deconstruction of plant fibers, but also a reconstruction of her connection with things surrounding. The textures of her works carry the efforts of a paper maker, and a living touch that we have overlooked in our city.

Redtonetone is the founder of Lomfa Fair Paper Making Workshop since 2014. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Applied and Media Arts from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and completed an apprenticeship with LIN ZHENG-LI, Paper artisan in TaiChung. Her creations aimed to promote the value of traditional craftsmanship by making Hong Kong origin papers.
