To celebrate Canada Day on the 1st of July, The Muse is honoured to collaborate with the Consulate General of Canada and invite Canadian photographer Randy VanDerStarren to host a photographic exhibition, "Take Your Seat, together" at The Muse, Hotel Stage.

Randy’s photographic journey is motivated by the simple truth that we only have one planet and one life so we must take care of both. The message is embedded in a Director’s Chair, a symbol of control and urgency, that appears in each of Randy's images, beseeching you to not only act on your life’s passion, but to also act on your responsibility to Nature and humanity itself. The choice of the Director’s Chair is because a film director decides what goes on the big screen. Our life is the biggest screen of all and we must be the director.

After appearing in ten countries and counting, Randy's powerful images of the simple chair continue to motivate, provoke and inspire people to live the life they intended. In Hong Kong this July, scenes from Canada and Hong Kong and the two cities’ landmarks through the provocative lens of Randy will encourage you to take your seat and reflect on the true meaning of life.
