The HKICF has returned for the 4th time in Hong Kong, offering the local scene a unique multicultural programme of contemporary dance. Exclusive contemporary choreographies co-created by 8 artists-in-residence from Hong Kong, Germany/Syria, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina (supported by the Consulate General of the Argentine Republic), Singapore, China and the Philippines.

What makes HKICF unique?
Prior to the HKICF performances, there is a 4-week long collective artists in residency - the HKICAROS (Hong Kong International Collective Artists in Residency for Opportunity and Sustainability) started from 27th May. This residency unites 8 international choreography artists together with local choreographers and dance artists. Artists from different dance backgrounds, culture and ethnicity will co-create and collaborate, producing new dance performances combining contemporary dance, choreography, theatre, visual design, music and voice.

The HKICF is created out of pure collaboration and unity, something that is strong in values of Unity Space that of: Collaboration, Integration, Synergy and Unity. From the 27th to 29th June, each evening will feature five creations at Sheung Wan Civic Centre Theatre.
