Jumping Frames — Hong Kong International Movement-image Festival 2022

‘Jumping Frames’ will be back to meet the audience this September! More than 60 local and international films will be featured under the theme ‘Body Non Body’. The opening screening highlighting 4 commissioned works by local directors Chan Hau-chun, Dorothy Cheung, Jolene Mok and Elysa Wendi will be followed by an Artist Focus Series, with films by Song Joowon, Cheuk Cheung, Danièle Wilmouth and Nao Yoshigai. 8 international award-winning featured films by renowned directors including, Tsai Ming-liang, Vincent Moon and more. Shortlisted films from nearly 500 open call submissions will be shown in the Competition Selection. Don’t miss out the Special Program: “Body Archive: Trajectory Re-imagined for Hong Kong and Taiwan”, relating the historical narrative of body through the cinematic dialogue between Taiwanese curator Joe Huang and Hong Kong curator Emilie Choi Sin-yi.
