Books are silence, but they never stop telling us stories.

Book Arts as an art form has been burgeoning in the creative and energetic city of Hong Kong, showing us fascinating stories. In the first Hong Kong Book Art Festival last year we searched for landscapes outside reading, this year we would explore the diversity of voices of books in the theme of “Book in Time”.

Book art involves literature, design, fine art and craft; every artwork reflects its artist’s determination and sophistication. This year consists of four components: concepts, binding, independent publication and open call artworks. Book art involves literature, design, fine art and craft; every artwork reflects its artist’s determination and sophistication.

The exhibition is organized with an aim to support the development of local book art. During the exhibition period there will be a series of activities including public talks, workshops and learning corner to provide diverse experience. We wish every audience could discover their own artistic language after listening to the various voices of books.
