Join our latest party series and feel the Japanese wave! In conjunction with the JRA Cup on 20 January, Happy Wednesday will host a trio of Japanese-themed festivals on the nights of 6, 13 and 20 January. Featuring traditional cultural performances, special on-course decorations and a wide range of Japanese dishes, complemented by sake and the growingly popular Japanese whisky, you can be sure of enjoying a total Japanese on-track experience.

Entertainment

Adding a further multicultural dimension to the pulsating action on the track will be a symphony of drum performances and Japanese traditional dancing.
"O.Daiko" : A drum performance with a strong beat to keep the party humming
"Ryusei Daiko" : An upbeat Japanese drum dance with a modern twist – a real delight to watch.

Japanese Gourmet
Enjoy a true taste of Japan with our special limited-time only trackside food menu. The visual creativity and tantalising aroma of these tasty treats will have you coming back to try them all!

Various types of sake, sake-based cocktail and the highly-regarded Japanese whisky will also be on sale to take your enjoyment to an even higher level.

Game with Prizes
Each time you buy two or more glasses of Kirin Beer, you will be given a traditional Japanese wishing plaque, as well as a Kirin souvenir. You can write down your New Year wishes on the plaque and hang it on the wish board at our traditional Japanese temple archway.

If you also take a photo at our Japanese temple archway and upload it to social media channel with the hashtags #happywednesday & #Kirin, you could win our weekly grand prize - a pair of round-trip tickets to Tokyo! We’ll have kimonos and interesting props on hand to help make your photo the best of the night!
