REFRACT x OC2S Presents - Last Dinosaurs Southeast Asia Tour 2019 - 最後恐龍野生派對 Live in Hong Kong 恐龍，史前爬行綱脊椎動物，地球生態系統的前支配者，䌓盛於侏羅紀，殁於白堊紀。物理上雖然滅絕，牠們卻以虛擬奇獸形態蟄伏於現代大眾媒介，等待總有一天再次支配地球。 2009年的昆士蘭，就像平常一樣四季如春，日裔高中生Sean、Lachlan Caskey兄弟，正渡過短暫卻乾冷的冬季，那時組成的Last Dinosaurs帶著爽勁Dance Punk結他和明亮演唱風格創作EP《Back of the Dead》，後來的兩張大碟《In a Million Years》和《Wellness》則加入更多Synth-pop元素，專輯展現出強烈一體性，多首歌曲獲澳洲廣播界讚許。 今年剛好是LD成立第十年，曾為Foals和Foster the People擔任Supporting band的他們，音樂風格和演出能力十分成熟，然而驟聽下仍能感受到旋律的青春，在同期的布里斯班獨立音樂圈中應是僅存物種。有聞，這群僅存的最後恐龍將出沒於東方，試圖在海港小城舉行一場受他們支配的野生派對⋯⋯ Last Dinosaurs is a Brisbane-based indie rock band that garnered praise for its full of velcro hooks and circular choruses. The trio of Sean Caskey, Lachlan Caskey and Michael Sloane delivers lush, eclectic garage rock sound in homage of top-charter bands like The Strokes, The Kooks and Dance Punk populariser Two Door Cinema Club. They have toured with Grammy-winning Foster the People and performed sold out shows across Asia, North America and Europe. With their 3rd album “Yumeno Garden” released in October 2018, Last Dinosaurs is ready to embark on a long-haul world tour upon hitting 10-year anniversary of their formation. As they go about blasting their home country Australia all the way to the US and Southeast Asia, they are going to set their feet in Hong Kong for the first time.
