“Getting Dark” is the title of Lin Sheng Xiang and Chung Yung Feng’s album in 2004. Its Chinese name in Hakka language means the approach of the darkness of the night. Having received 3 Golden Melody Awards in 2005, the album is a narration of the livelihood of and the search for way out for the grass roots.

This upcoming Hong Kong live show will be kind of a preview of the “Getting Dark – 15th Anniversary Concert” by Sheng-Xiang & Band, which will be held at TICC, Taipei next July.

During times of darkness, arts and culture could encourage people to overcome adversity and rise to challenges. Sheng-Xiang & Band would like to stand with Hong Kong by bringing its music to the city at this historical juncture.
