Now add a super-sized orchestra, a dash of Hindu philosophy, a star pianist and a vintage electronic instrument straight out of science fiction, and you’re still not even half-way to imagining Olivier Messiaen’s mind-boggling Turangalila-Symphonie: in its first performance by the HK Phil.
