xiao ke and zi han's mapping performance theatre takes the audience on an audio walk through tai kwun. the contemporary performance artist duo from shanghai, along with six hong kong performers, spent six months collecting personal urban memories through in-depth interviews in both cities. the memories are distilled into different scenes of unexpected encounters. the audience and performers trace the steps in these stories using headphones. the work invites us to meet collectively with knowing looks, ultimately culminating in a quiet but compassionate reunion.

for ages 16 and above, comfortable footwear is recommended for walking. we kindly ask the audience to remain silent during the performance.
