这场音乐会，除演奏王立平的《红楼梦》选段外，两首焦点乐曲是董昭民及李垂宜「改编」的大提琴与乐队《红楼梦》组曲，是「根据王立平《红楼梦》组曲原作改编、作曲」，这是说其中「改编」过程中，还加入了「作曲」的新材料；由姚珏担任独奏的小提琴与乐队《红楼梦》，则是许翔威「改编」的作品，改编之所据则是「陈钢以王立平原曲创作改编」的小提琴与西洋管弦乐曲，也就是说，许翔威这首作品便是一首「改编」自陈钢「改编」自王立平原曲的「再改编」乐曲了.... Famous composer, Wang Liping, composed a musical setting to chime the essence of the Chinese literature, The Dream of Red Chamber, in the 80’s. Apart from performing the Wang's music in the concert, two highlights are the World Premieres of Chinese Orchestral Version with Trey Lee (Cello) and Yao Jue (Violin).
