It’s a cappella with a twist! Since 1979, the Harvard Din & Tonics, Harvard University’s signature all-male a cappella singing group, have delighted audiences around the world with their impeccable musicality, snappy choreography and hilarious antics. The 13-man group consists entirely of Harvard undergraduate students. The group’s repertoire celebrates the “Great American Songbook”, in particular American jazz standards from the 1920s to the 1940s, but also includes selections from rock ‘n’ roll, calypso, swing and folk. You think it’s hard to get into Harvard? It’s even harder to get into the Din & Tonics! Aspiring members have to endure a rigorous audition process. But the new members bring a fresh vitality to the group’s performances each year.
