有明显的,有隐藏的;
瘾,会改变情绪,带来快乐;
瘾,推迟了失落、沮丧等负面情绪的来临;
Cit:diction
Cities
Being the "products" of the industrial and commercial development in countries;
Half of the world's population is currently living in them.
Addictions
Being the "by-products" of the cities;
Some are obvious; some are hidden within them.
People who are living in cities more or less acquired addictions unconsciously.
Addictions can change our emotions and bring us happiness.
Addictions delay the arrival of negative emotions such as feeling lost and depressed.
Addictions cannot be easily controlled; they are also hard to quit.
You, who live within this "Cit:diction", are willing to be trapped, or do not even aware that you have already been trapped?
In this "Cit:diction" exhibition, the artworks of seven students from the Higher Diploma in Applied Art programme of Hong Kong Art School will be displayed, as a preview of their graduation exhibition next year.
Through their artworks in various medium, the students would like to share their findings and views on "Cit:diction" with the audience. The students attempt to arise the consciousness of the audience, allowing the audience to understand more about their own self and the cities that they are living in, thus, rethink their relationship with the cities.
