「恒生青少年艺术工作坊」是JCCAC与恒生银行的首次合作计划，旨在让青少年体验艺术，学习彼此分享和互相欣赏，提升他们的表达能力和创意，并鼓励他们将艺术融入生活。计划于2012年3月至9月分阶段进行，举办超过50次免费艺术工作坊，由驻JCCAC艺术家担任导师，恒生义工队从旁协助，带领超过1,000位来自社区团体和学校的参加者亲身体验创作，并特别招待弱势社群参与，以艺术传达「用心」的讯息。是次展览是「JCCAC艺术节2012」的其中一项社区艺术节目，展出由驻JCCAC艺术家带领中小学生集体创作的艺术成果。 ‘Hang Seng Arts Empowerment Workshop’ is a pilot programme, sponsored by Hang Seng Bank, that provides a platform for underprivileged young people to participate in arts-based activities, with the aim of encouraging feelings of empowerment, harmony and creativity. Between March and September 2012, around 1,000 participants from community organisations and schools benefited from over 50 art workshop sessions that were conducted by JCCAC artists with assistance from members of the Hang Seng Volunteer Team. Through the workshops, participants used artistic creation to explore and spread positive messages about building a ‘loving’ society.
