About SliderAsia Trombone Festival SliderAsia Trombone Festival is a non-profit event presented and organized by the Hong Kong Trombone Association and becoming a flagship project of the Association to achieve its main objects. Objectives: 1) To promote education & appreciation to trombone music; 2) To facilitate exchanges among Asian and overseas trombone players towards advancement of overall playing and musicianship excellence; 3) To provide learning & performance opportunities for trombone players. We are the largest annual get-together since 2010, for Asian trombonists of all levels for learning and exchanges,with the visiting top professional trombonists and educators around the world to celebrate the best musicianship and personalities of finest trombonists. We share the best of classical, jazz and many other genres of finest but rare trombone music through a number of performances with the general public. Through professional & experienced operation of the program, SliderAsia has become a key annual get-together for trombonists of all levels around Asia for exchanges, and to celebrate the best musicianship and personalities of finest trombonists.
