Postiljonen are a chill wave/ dream pop trio from Scandinavia. Formed in September 2011 and composed of Norwegian vocalist Mia Bøe and Swedish multi-instrumentalists Daniel Sjörs and Joel Nyström Holm the band have quick/y gained an international reputation which has earned them shows alongside Beach House, James Blake and fellow countrymen The Knife and Gothenburg’s Way Out Festival 2013. After releasing a handful of online only singles in their native Scandinavia the trio have managed to create a highly characteristic sound, where ethereal and alluring vocals are interwoven in a mystical, ambient, dreamy and lovable expression. They have been compared to the likes of M83, Air France, Sigur Ros, jj and Cocteau Twins.
