Macmanaman is an instrumental quintet from Fukuoka (Japan) playing, as they describe it by themselves – “roaring and euphoric vortex of sharp guitar melodies and odd time signatures". Generally speaking, their extraordinary complex and energetic music can be classified as math-rock. However, there is definitely a mix of diverse influences that must be enjoyed by fans of progressive, post-rock, punk, hardcore, avant-jazz and other genres. Macmanaman often tours around Japan and known by the audience and artists outside of their home prefecture. They have shared stage with many local and international bands including Lightning Bolt, Nadja, Bo Ningen, Keiji Haino, Doravideo, Acid Mothers Temple and others. In 2012 they have made a remarkable performance at Fuji-rock closing the festival at the Rookie stage. The gig at Hidden Agenda will be the first date of their promotion tour following the new live album "DRUNKENDESIGNATEDHITTER" released on 14th of May, 2014."
