ART STATEMENTS 1700
Inspired by Gustav Mahler's symphony masterpiece, Das Lied von der Erde, which was created by translated poems from Chinese poet such as Li Bai and Mong Hao-Ran, from the French translated version and later on with the German translated versions. Wilfred's performance focuses on the translation process of work that plays with the concept of "Differance" from Derrida.

Donning cartoonish "muscle suits", we explore societal antipathy towards female muscularity and the mores such an attitude promotes. We will push ourselves to physical exhaustion- and, consequently, the destruction of the suits - beneath the weight of the audience's gazes.

NOCTURNAL: (8 min)
by Yu Liwai (represented by Pekin Fine Art)
All commence as a tribute to Louis Lumiere and the other primitives of Cinema: remote whistling of a train; headlight of a locomotive; a freaky motel... Created with muted images and a dreamy soundscape; this film intends to rediscover the long forgotten poetry and naivety of Silent Films. NOCTURNAL is a simple story about liberty and imprisonment;
about life and exception. It recounts a brief encounter and a fleeting moment of escapism.

The so-called street political protests, demonstrations and assemblies can be found in various public squares. Such phenomenon has a long history and is stimulated and distributed by modern Internet and exerts on social internet a range of virtual images which are worried, detailed, live, violent and with unknown prospect. It hardly makes any difference for the eyewitnesses, the experienced, the present or non-present with the introduction of cameras and news media. With the internet, street politics is available in every computer and immersed in the mind of every individual in front of the PC.
