INDIA ASSOCIATION presents Musique Sans Frontieres’ IN HARMONY An unprecedented coming together of different styles of music from the East and West, IN HARMONY is a show where Bollywood hits seamlessly fuse into jazz and Latin standards with segues in and out of Hindustani ragas and vibrant Indian folk melodies, giving tradition a contemporary makeover with its essence intact. A group of young vocalists from Hong Kong will be led by Falu, a renowned mult-faceted singer from New York described by the New York Times as “a blend of East and West …. ancient and modern” and by Billboard as “ethereal and transcendental”. These singers will be accompanied by some of Hong Kong’s most renowned jazz musicians led by guitar hero Eugene Pao for an evening that promises to blend culture and non-stop entertainment like never before.
