Artist Movana Chen will show the latest development of her well-known, touring project "Travelling Into Your Bookshelf" started since 2009, along with video display of the making-of process filmed in 7 cities.www.movanachen.com/tb_09_1.htm Writer Caroline Ha Thuc will present and sign her latest art book, "After 2000: Contemporary Art In China", featuring more than 100 artists and analysing how art has evolved against a backdrop of radical social, political and economic change since the turn of the century. The very first exhibition at CHARBON will also be unveiled on the Grand Opening Day, curated by artist Movana Chen using 1,500 copies of the new books of Caroline Ha Thuc to create a multi-disciplinary sculpture about art and book reciprocation. Both guests will be present at the Grand Opening to meet and chat more about this special project.
