TUTOR PROFILE 导师简介 THE LADY'S WRITING | Calligraphy | Art | Hong Kong | Leave your keyboards and dance with the flow of ink. | Our founder, Angie Fong, is a calligraphy enthusiast who started her calligraphy journey through self-learning in 2014, with engrosser's script as her first love and forte. She also works in other scripts such as Spencerian and Italian Hand. ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS 有关这次的工作坊 Elegantly Engrossed is a series of lettering workshops on the exquisite Engrosser’s Script that comprises two sessions: one on minuscules (i.e. lowercase letters) and the other one on majuscules (i.e. capital letters). Elegantly Engrossed是一系列有关细緻优雅的Engrosser’s Script的工作坊，主要分为小阶工作坊及大阶工作坊两节。 No matter which session you are joining, our goal is simple – to go back to the basics of Engrosser’s Script. Together we will start with an introduction to the tools and the language used by calligraphers, some of our favourite warming up exercises, then we will look at the fundamental strokes of this Script, the basic rules governing the letter forms and how to intelligently practise writing the Script on your own. 不论你参加的是任何一个工作坊，我们的目标很简单 - 就是回到Engrosser’s Script的基础。由有关工具及书法家之间用语的简介开始，我们会一起做一些我最喜欢的热身练习，再看看Engrosser’s Script的基础笔划、基本的字型结构规则和如何在工作坊完结后都能自己有效地练习。 We believe that good letters are only found at the bottom of each bottle of ink. While we all seek to write as we are elegantly engrossing the text on paper, we also hope that you enjoy the serenity that being elegantly engrossed in writing brings. OTHER INFORMATION 其他资料 Theme of workshop: This is a workshop focusing on the capital letters in Engrosser's Script. 工作坊主题：这节工作坊将围绕Engrosser's Script这书体中的大小阶字母 Dates and time: 日期及时间： 10:00 - 17:00 on 22 April 2018 - Part I: Minuscules (i.e. lowercase letters) 二零一八年四月二十二日早上十时至下午五时为小阶工作坊 10:00 - 17:00 on 29 April 2018 - Part II: Majuscules (i.e. capital letters) 二零一八年四月二十九日早上十时至下午五时为大阶工作坊 Duration: 7 hours including a one-hour lunch break 活动需时：七小时包括一小时的午饍时间 Target participants: Beginners or calligraphy lovers who want to refine their Engrosser’s Script 适合程度：初学沾水笔书法人士或希望学习或改进Engrosser’s Script的书法爱好者 Class size: 10 people at maximum.
