在香港,饲养宠物是十分普遍,然而在决定饲养的时候,曾否考虑以领养代替购买呢?
是次展览由 Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) 联同香港插画及漫画家 Bonnie Pang 创作了一系列狗狗插画及Postcards,藉此宣扬狗狗领养讯息之外,所有展出的作品和Postcards均作义卖用途,所得收益将全数捐往Hong Kong Dog Rescue用作机构营运及照顾待领养狗狗开支。
至于主题 "85 Wagging Tails"何以得来,不妨数数展出作品的狗狗找答案!HKDR还有600多头狗狗尚待有心人领养,希望大家支持领养代替购买,更不弃养。养宠物,是一生一世的承诺。

作者简介
Bonnie Pang is an illustrator and comic artist from Hong Kong. She studied Geography and Resource Management in CUHK, then obtained a master’s degree in Fine Arts at the Academy of Arts University. She’s currently a freelance illustrator who works on children’s books and creates the webcomic IT Guy & Art Girl. When not drawing, Bonnie loves cooking, playing with dogs, and contributing to the environment.
彭康儿,香港插画及漫画家。毕业于香港中文大学地理与资源管理学系,及后于美国旧金山艺术大学修毕艺术硕士课程。现为自由工作者,主要绘画欧美儿童书,及创作网络漫画「IT男与艺术女」。画画以外,喜欢下厨、与狗狗玩耍、以及为环保出一分力。
关于 Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR)
Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) was founded for the purpose of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming abandoned dogs and puppies in Hong Kong. Since its establishment in 2003, HKDR has successfully found homes for over 9,000 dogs. As a No-Kill Organisation, HKDR currently takes care of around 650 dogs and operates two daily-open Homing Centres with support and donations from general public.
救狗之家 (HKDR) 致力拯救本地被遗弃狗隻,自2003年成立以来成功为超过9,000隻狗寻找新家,并长期照顾约650隻待领养狗隻。作为一个不杀组织,救狗之家承诺照顾会内所有待领养狗隻直至牠们终老,并依赖公众捐款营运两个每日开放的领养中心。
