是次展覽將展出近年矚目藝壇的美國藝術家Mike Stilkey的最新書作,書雕塑及7米高的裝置藝術。Mike Stilkey是個說書人,但不是傳統說書人,而是一位能創造出異想天開,怪誕有趣的故事,令歡眾投入其中的藝術家。
Stilkey在故事中創作故事,他的名作是在堆放和被丟棄的書本書脊上的繪畫,由書名獲得啟發,然後賦予它們第二生命。他的作品不是一般的敘事畫,超現實、極簡約的故事編排,帶給觀眾自我詮釋的空間。
