Mini Underwater Robot Fun Day 2012 is organized by Hong Kong Innovative Technology and Education Association, a non-profit educational organization in Hong Kong with a mission to provide a science platform to educate the youth in Green Marine Education.  Hong Kong Innovative Technology and Education Association organizes this prestigious event with the support from International Science Association-MILSET, US MATE, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Ltd., leaders of industry, parent associations and higher education institutions and iCreate Robotic Fund.   Mission The mission of Mini Underwater Robot Fun Day 2012 is to: - spark interest and awareness in our planet’s sustainability challenges, - help young kids, especially kindergarten and primary students,  grasp the extent of these issues with the concept of STEM education concept, - spark the element of parenting into science education, - accelerate the progress toward a sustainable world by engaging  youths at an early age. History It is the sustainable underwater robot educational program from MATE ROV Program. The first pilot run edition was held in 2011 as a regional contest for primary students; in 2012 it take its scale higher, more professional and develop as an international campaign in green robotic education in marine for kindergarten and primary kids. The national fun day for kindergarten and primary kids will be launched in coming 29th September,2012. Mini Underwater Robot Fun Day spread throughout the international and HK during the past year, achieved partnerships from HKITEA, MILSET, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Ltd and Parents Organizations.   The 1st edition, Mini Underwater Robot Fun Day 2012, is conducted in two phases during which workshops and competition will be conducted and, ultimately, the best will be awarded and represented Hong Kong for coming trail in Brazil in October, and Mexico in November, 2012.   Organizer: Hong Kong Innovative Technology and Education Association
