Ra:IN 由英文"Rock and Inspiration"縮寫而來。發音同英文"Line"。
樂團於2002年，由 PATA (X Japan), michiaki 及 Tetsu 組成。
三位團員均為當今日本樂壇獨當一面之頂尖搖滾樂手，並活躍於音樂界的最前線。
團員並將Ra:IN作為長期活動核心。由成立至今一直無間斷的作公開演出。
樂團曲風為 “Loudest Rock” - 是以創新的音樂以極具震撼性的搖滾方式演奏。
Ra:IN 以豐富的英國搖滾作根基。其國際視野曲風深受海外樂迷歡迎。
曾作巡迴演出之地區遍佈全日本各地，台灣，中國，歐洲。其音樂感染力已漫延國際。
