Riding on the success of Creative Technologies Workshop 2011, Cyberport's Entrepreneurship Centre is planning to work with Wellington Institute of Technology (WelTec), the strategic partner of Cyberport, to develop another Creative Technologies Workshop in 2012, which will be a 5-day Workshop during 16 – 20 November 2012 at Cyberport, with main targets including startups, industry professionals, ICT mentors, students and anyone who are interested in prototyping concepts with 3D technology.

WETA Workshop
WETA Workshop is a global Oscar-winning film company, where Mr Gareth McGhie formerly worked as the Leading Supervisor in the design and crafting of film sets, props, costumes, jewelry and weapons for films including Peter Jackson's trilogy, Lord of the Rings and James Cameron's, Avatar.
The workshop will provide a project goal for all participants who learn creative practice and collaboration through team building by developing and designing specific 3D Depth Sensing content, interactivity that can apply to social networking, mobile applications and gaming concept design.
Skillsets will be supported in order to help participants to stimulate their creativity that helps to develop skill sets that promote startup companies successfully.
