《藍花花》以濃烈陝北風格的民間舞為素材，以陝北秧歌、腰鼓和板凳鼓等特色舞韻，編出如詩歌的舞蹈，展現黃土高原的民風和浪漫高亢的感情。
編創團隊親到陝北採風，結合高亢民謠和當代弦樂，揉合香港純弦和陝北原生態腔調之演奏及演唱，創作出獨具匠心的音樂和舞蹈，演繹出具香港當代藝術特色之舞劇。
