維也納分離派創始人之一古斯塔夫．克林姆(1862-1918)將獨特的裝飾花紋和象徵寓意相結合。師承克林姆的表現主義畫家埃貢．席勒(1890-1918)進一步探索個人情感的表達，並將其充分展現在扭曲變形的畫面中。展覽將透過高質素複製品呈現這兩位奧地利畫家自身及當時社會時局的幻想與危機。此展覽獲得香港大學藝術學系協助策劃，藉以為年青策展人提供實習機會。
