首屆Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong 雲集80 個香港及國際参展畫廊，將於2013 年3 月15 至17 日假香港會議展覽中心舉行。Affordable Art Fair始於1999 年在倫敦起家，旨在啟發參觀者對品欣賞及收藏的興趣。創辦人Will Ramsay 表示大概三成參觀者從來沒有購買藝術原作的經驗，所以Affordable Art Fair 在發展新一代收藏家貢獻良多，並為發展亞洲區藝術市場出一分力。 Affordable Art Fair 讓各參展畫廊展示大師級傑作的同時，亦為新冒起的藝術家提供一個展示平台，讓參觀者可以選擇符合各自喜好的藝術品。所有參展藝術品均作發售，價值將介乎港幣一千元至十萬元。 為支持本地創作，Affordable Art Fair 特別邀請了資深策展人梁兆基先生策劃了Young Talent HongKong 展覽，展出十多位本地優秀新晉藝術家的作品。參展藝術家年齡不超過35 歲，大部份均為過去幾年畢業的藝術系畢業生，展覽反映香港新世代的藝術風格和視野。展覽注重重創意具批判思維，以城市想像為主題讓藝術家以藝術手法抒發對我城及生活的反思，亦藉藝術創作發掘城市的意趣。 參展藝術家包括：陳閃、何文聰、何兆南、許劍豪、鄺詠君、林佑森、劉學成、劉彥耿、羅家南、梁依廷、李天倫、林靜雯、吳鋌灝、黃振欽、黃鳳芝。 Affordable Art Fair is the leading showcase for affordable contemporary art. More than 80 local and international galleries will be offering a diverse range of contemporary art. Be inspired by the artwork from various galleries all over the world and see which artist appeals to your artistic taste. Choose from a wide variety of artwork, which includes paintings, sculptures, prints and photographs without burning a hole in your wallet. Artworks are all priced between HK $1,000 to HK $100,000 with 75% of the art displayed under HK $75,000 and the clear labeling of all artwork ensures you know what you can afford! Throughout the event, there will be free talks by leading art experts from Art Equity, a relaxed restaurant and café, as well as professional and free children workshops at the Children's Art Studio.
