「光的藝術」由香港美術教育協會主辦，是以推廣環保為主要的大型光影藝術教育計劃，預計整項計劃受惠者高達420,000人次。透過舉辦專題講座、設計思維教室、綠色生活燈光之旅、藝術家創作導賞工作坊、全港學界比賽及作品展，希望參賽者可用藝術創作，並以「光」為主題，除展示出「光」的多元化功能性及藝術性，亦向公眾宣揚環保及減少能源浪費的訊息，並提高個人的環保意識。
