Cold Cave is the moniker for the music of Wesley Eisold based in Los Angeles and New York City whose music is described as a "collage of darkwave, noise, and synth pop". Cold Cave was founded by Wesley Eisold, former vocalist of several hardcore groups including Give Up the Ghost (previously known as American Nightmare), Some Girls, and XO Skeletons, and also the founder of publisher Heartworm Press. The group represents his first venture into instrumentation. After initial releases on Dais Records, Hospital Productions, What's Your Rupture?, and Heartworm Press, the group is currently signed to Matador Records, which re-released their debut album, Love Comes Close, on November 3, 2009. Cold Cave was among the bands chosen by Matt Groening to perform at the edition of the All Tomorrow's Parties festival he curated in May 2010 in Minehead, England. Eisold has worked with many musicians live and on record to perform his music including Nick Zinner, Cody Votolato, Hunter Burgan, Matt Sweeney, Dominick Fernow and Daryl Palumbo. Ticket Sales Available from White Noise Records, Zoo Records, The Globe, Saffron On The Peak from May 3 or online via http://www.wegottickets.com
