Inspired by pop punk music, he picked up the guitar at 14, and soon realised his passion for music. After starting a band called Amplified with his classmates, they were discovered through Sony Music Japan's International Audition, and ended up being signed to DefSTAR Records from 2006 to 2008. Their debut hit single, "Mr. Raindrop" was selected to be the ending theme song for a popular anime Gintama. Having graduated from Brown University in 2012, Terrence continues to pursue his passion as a singer/songwriter.
