創意媒體學系自2005年開始組織該系學生組成 Special Interest Group (SIG) - 玩樂媒體 舉行作品展覽。展覽目的在於為一群對媒體藝術、數碼娛樂具創意和熱誠的同學提供一個平台，讓他們的作品能向公眾展示。由2005年起舉辦的 Playful Media Showcase 屢獲各界熱烈好評。
展覽作品共有六個範疇：
-Animation & DVFX (Digital Visual Effects) 動畫及數碼視覺效果
-Photography 攝影
-Game 遊戲
-Graphics & Design 圖形與設計
-Installation and Interaction 裝置藝術與互動
-Web Radio 網絡
