「雷利衛徑長征」始創於2000年，目的是為雷利計劃(香港)青少年發展項目籌款。及後因反應熱烈，雷利計劃(香港)於2003年起正式將此活動公開讓大眾參與。今屆賽事主題為「衛徑‧青年‧世界」，喻意你們在衛徑踏出的每一步，都會支持更多的青年人去參與海外義工服務、改變世界！ 報名日期 2013年6月1日至8月21日 籌款目的 「雷利衛徑長征 」 2013 所籌得之善款，均會全數撥捐雷利計劃(香港)作為發展青少年活動之經費 。 本年度比賽路線簡介 比賽路線大部份為衛奕信徑，全長約七十八公里，共分為九段。大會在各分段終站均設有檢查站為參賽者記錄時間並提供補給，沿途亦設有中途檢查站以免參賽者偏離指定路線。請注意，中途檢查站將不會記錄時間及不設補給。但所有參賽者必須在中途檢查站把電子記錄咭放在記錄器上以確保參賽者的安全。(注意︰賽事指定的比賽路線和原來的衛奕信徑略有不同。)
