He started studying music at 18 years-old and did a degree in musicology after being influenced by western classical and contemporary music. After visiting Germany and India, he started composing music and has had his music released on several labels - Rural Colours(UK), Twisted Tree Line (UK), Cathedral Transmissions (UK), Stuk Label(JP), and Twice Removed Records (AU). His work has also appeared on some compilations, such as future sequence, mu-nest and mizukage records. The music of La’bridge cannot be simply categorized as typical technos or instrumentals. Sherman plays electric guitar and effect pedals. His debut solo work “Politely We Grow Old” was released by Lona Records in 2006. Heivard is a musician / sound artist based in Hong Kong. An experimentalist who shapes Ambient, Glitch, IDM and other sonic arts into unpredictable forms.
