香港最大型音樂和藝術節 Clockenflap is back! 今年更首次舉辦三天的Clockenflap宣佈 Franz Ferdinand、崔健、Chic (featuring Nile Rodgers)、Four Tet、G.E.M、tfvsjs、2manyDJs、Modeselektor、Benga、Tegan and Sara同盧凱彤 將參與今年的活動，更多國際和本地重量級表演嘉賓將陸續公佈！ Clockenflap 由Mike Hill、Jay Forster和Justin Sweeting於2008年創立，為香港帶來一個值得驕傲的大型節目。一直以來，Clockenflap都不是受利益驅使，主辦單位一直為香港大眾提供他們所期待渴望，真正屬於他們的音樂文化節目。受Glastonbury、Fuji Rock、South by Southwest等國際音樂節所啟發，Clockenflap不但帶來國際知名樂隊，同時亦把焦點放在區內新進音樂人身上。 踏入第六年的Clockenflap持續增長，不斷壯大。今年預期入場人次將進一步攀升。自成立以來，主辦單位面對種種挑戰，務求為這城市建立一個可持續發展的文化音樂節的模式。憑藉典型的香港拼搏精神，加上獲得廣泛社會和西九龍文化區的支持，主辦單位堅持下去，最終完成近乎不可能的任務，帶來一個屬於香港的國際級大型文化節。去年參與的外國樂隊，均被位處馳名的維港景觀之下的西九龍文化區的位置和天然環境完全攝著。Clockenflap將是公眾今年體驗香港另一面的唯一機會：逃離都市的喧囂，在香港的動人景色下、青蔥草坪上，投入一個與別不同的音樂和多媒體藝術世界。 Clockenflap 入場必備 Web App (powered by Timable) http://clockenflap.timable.com/ Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s premier and largest music and arts festival, today unveiled its third-round announcement of top international and local artists and DJs to join its 2013 event — with 34 more artists/bands/DJs added to the musical line-up, plus the British Council Hong Kong and UK Trade & Investment’s Great Campaign presenting “Restored Treasures: Captivating Hitchcock Silents – Blackmail” screening with live music scoring by Stephen Horne. Leading the musical charge is Cui Jian (pronounced “Sway Jen”), touted as “the father of Chinese rock music” and “Beijing’s answer to Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.” Exclusively presented by Sennheiser, the official sound partner of Clockenflap 2013, Cui Jian tops the Sunday, December 1, line-up. Also confirmed to perform are: Berlin electronic music duo, Modeselektor; Belgium’s alternative rock/electronic specialists, 2ManyDJs; Canadian indie-rock twin-sister duo, Tegan and Sara; British dubstep king, Benga; Syrian master of Arabic folk beats, Omar Souleyman; and New York’s hip-hop/mixtape legend, DJ Neil Armstrong (also best known as Jay-Z’s former tour DJ). Beijing’s DJ/beatmaker duo DJ Wordy & Soulspeak and Hong Kong rockstress, Ellen Loo, also join the new line-up; and singer-guitarist Ryan Hui will perform on opening night, November 29, to mark the end of the global “Movember” campaign, which annually raises funds and awareness for men’s prostate and testicular cancer, and mental health.
