1976成立於1996年夏天，台灣樂團大爆炸的年代，17年團齡經歷過地下社會、Vibe、水晶唱片、春天吶喊、野台開唱、千人場地的發生...許多成就台灣獨立音樂蓬勃發展的事件，1976持續長大，也是最大的獲益者；2010年以＂不合時宜＂專輯奪得金曲奬最佳樂團，接著的三年主唱阿凱成立re: public records，吉他手大麻成立re: public studio，1976將全部的能量與音樂知識傳遞給台灣新一代創作者與獨立樂團。 在告別地下社會前夕，1976改作「90年代」，茁壯於此的一個樂團「沒有能力保護這個城市第一個與最後一個花園」，我們面對的是急著變醜的城市，守著老態龍鍾的價值觀，不再值得歌頌。2013年八月，天空異常的藍，1976帶著新曲踏上巡迴，與你一起奪回雲和彩虹。
