And of all the possible types of jazz, we play nothing but the music composed and arranged by Duke Ellington, the true legend.” The Happy-Go-Lucky Big Band, led by Kenny Matsuura, is a group of young and enthusiastic musicians who all love the music of great jazz composer/arranger Duke Ellington. The band has the traditional format of a jazz orchestra, with 17 instruments: 5 saxophones, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, a bass, drums, a guitar and a piano.
