香港大學即日起至本月22日舉行「平等機會節2013」，多個團體包括平等機會委員會、家庭計劃指導會、孌直同盟、Speak for Humanity及反性暴力資源中心等，均在該校中山廣場設立攤檔，推廣性別平等訊息。
今年大會主題為《共建共融社會，提倡性別平等》，香港大學平等機會事務處聯同該校多個單位，合作舉辦一連串活動包括講座、展覽、書展及電影放映等。平機會主席周一嶽及港大首席副校長錢大康昨主持平等機會學生大使開展禮，首批40名大使將在校園宣揚平等共融的訊息。
