Hong Kong Arts Centre is proudly present the first solo exhibition of veteran Austrian painter Xenia Hausner in Hong Kong. This exhibition will present her recent and newly completed large-scale paintings which usually depicts female portraits posturing in cinematic scenes with expressive and vivid brushstrokes. Besides her touching style of brushstroke, her paintings involving various scenery (e.g. road signs and city-scape) she impressed at her journeys in Hong Kong and Asia will tell us her artistic sensation of the notion of “East meets West”.
