莎士比亞是歷史上深具影響力的英國詩人。雖然他浪漫的詩歌和戲劇已是聞名中外， 但普羅大眾鮮有見識過他的作品可如何以音樂演繹。為慶祝莎士比亞誕辰450週年， 我們特意以莎士比亞為主題，舉辦合唱團第46屆週年音樂會。音樂會將涵蓋各類型的作品， 包括與較知名沙作相關的歌曲，如《仲夏夜之夢》，以及多首十四行詩。 我們不但希望透過音樂會與大眾分享對合唱音樂的熱誠， 更希望觀眾可以從嶄新的角度去了解這位偉大詩人。 大名鼎鼎既英國劇作家莎士比亞，你有冇聽過？ 寫詩就聽過，唱歌就未必！ 唔講唔知，2014將會係莎翁誕辰450周年， 我地以此作為周年音樂會主題，演出多首後人就莎翁名作寫成既合唱樂曲，包括馬克白、仲夏夜之夢、威尼斯商人、甚至佢既浪漫情詩 想邊聽音樂邊增加自己文學修養？ So you must know the playwright, Shakespeare, But have you heard of the music about him? Here comes a chance! 2014 will be the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's birth. We take this as the theme of our concert, Presenting a list of choral pieces composed based on his masterpieces, including Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, the Merchant of Venice as well as his romantic sonnets.
