要為舞蹈指揮音樂，指揮家必須對樂曲整體結構有深入了解，確保舞蹈員演出穩定之餘，還要保持音樂的水準。
去年「芭蕾舞指揮之道」中的討論，主要圍繞芭蕾舞的音樂指揮，而今年則為探討當代舞蹈指揮 。參加者將在堂座前排座位先近距離觀摩《死而複生的伊菲格尼》的總綵排，其後再和指揮家 楊•霍斯曼詳談為現代舞指揮的特色。
