Noise to Signal is a performance series for improvised noise and experimental music within the context of performing art. This time we invite French experimental "musical travel agent", Philippe Petit (FR) to Hong Kong, and celebrate his 30 years of activism, sharing musical passions with Hong Kong's music lovers. Since the early 2000s Petit has been performing the world, playing festivals all over Europe, Canada, USA, Mexico, Australia & Asia..., etc. His works have been released by several international labels. He is also the man behind the cult labels Pandemonium Rdz. and BiP_HOp. Dealing with Electroacoustics, he relies on electricity/amplification to produce, manipulate, work on sound-material, but trying his best to explore various genres and make sure that each of his albums differs from the previous one, trying to avoid routine to surprise the listeners. Also, Ahkok Wong (HK) and Error:Wrong (HK) as support acts for the night.
