Market-oriented lifestyle makes us forget the relationship between people, the cycle of four seasons, and the phenology of plants and animals. Nowadays, the perception of "good life" is to earn more money to buy all kinds of goods in the supermarket. However, the more goods we import, the more we are confused in what we eat and use. Is it still possible to live a well-rounded life without relying on money in Hong Kong?
Through 5 months of learning about basic agricultural skills and detailed observations, a group of participants rethink about the relationship in food industry and modern lifestyle and developed their ideas into visual artworks. Realizing farmers are not the only producers in our food chain, but anyone can step forward to create a more healthier, righteous and sustainable life. We would like to invite you to come to learn how to be a responsible producer by yourself!
Apart from seeing the artworks, our participants will cook up the crops they harvested on site! You can also buy seasoned vegetables as well as participate in various specially designed activities using different senses, like sight, smell and touch on that day. Please Come by and Be a Responsible Producer!
