It tells the story of a couple in a relationship that has become cold, rigid, and without communication. They both hold their ground, neither giving way: the victim or the executioner... who’s who? The suffering certainly cannot be denied; it is dense and almost palpable, sweeping into the space and vibrating in the slightest movement of each character as the sentimental break-up reveals their hidden personalities. “Tell Me the Truth and Other Stories” is a contemporary and engaging piece of theatre that tells a tale poetically. Sara Mangano and Pierre-Yves Massip are attached to the idea of transmitting their art. Their teaching is based on the understanding and use of the three major mime techniques: Marcel Marceau, Etienne Decroux and Jacques Lecoq. They strive for the recognition of the Art of Mime in the theatrical world and the eyes of the general public. They have created many projects with this goal in mind, and most notably: Mim’Provisation and Mimesis.”
