agnès b.’s LIBRAIRIE GALERIE is pleased to present FUTURE PERFECT, an exhibition curated by Jean-François Sanz, Head of Art & Culture of the agnès b. Endowment Fund. The intense fascination for the future revealed by certain past works by contemporary artists is inspired from the historical form of modernism. From the way in which we previously imagined the future, and the retrospective gaze that the present era levels at the past – particularly at its vision of modernity and its often naive or fantastical anticipation of the future. A selection of works from contemporary artists has been integrated with and reciprocated by past works and documents in FUTURE PERFECT.
